3monkeys is a project of North of England Storytelling festivals. NESF establishes partnerships with existing organisations to undertake work that assists the continued development of the performance storytelling sector and the artists working within it.

Founded in 1987 The Crick Crack Club is the longest running and most prominent performance storytelling programmer and promoter in England. It has been highly influential in the re-visioning of storytelling as a contemporary performance art, and on the development of artists working as performance storytellers, in the UK and beyond.  A London based organisation, it has a national remit, and is noted for its standard setting within the sector; its support and knowledge of artists and their work; its audience development work; and its forward looking strategic approach to the continuation and growth of the performance storytelling sector in England and Wales. The Crick Crack Club’s networks are impressive and far-reaching, and it is continually fostering new relationships through its work promoting performance storytelling, and offering programming advice to festivals, theatres, arts centres and rural touring networks. www.crickcrackclub.com
